Biographical Information[edit]

Alberto Rosario made it to AA in 2010, then AAA in 2012. In 2016, he reached the majors.

Rosario signed with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in January 2005. He hit .227/.276/.252 for the 2005 DSL Angels, .275/.351/.348 in 2006 and .301/.350/.397 in 2007. He came stateside in 2008, shuttling between four different Angels affiliates and hitting a composite .228/.261/.289 in 73 games as a backup catcher. He spent all of 2009 with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, batting .232/.279/.306. His 103 assists led California League backstops. In 2010, Rosario played for the Quakes (.304/.355/.431 in 48 G) and the Arkansas Travelers (.193/.224/.211 in 51 G). He then joined the Dominican national team for the 2010 Pan American Games Qualification Tournament as the alternate to Alberto Castillo.
