Biographical Information[edit]

Bart Johnson threw back-to-back complete game shutouts as a member of the Chicago White Sox in 1974. The games were on August 24th against the Cleveland Indians and August 28th against the Boston Red Sox.

He was a non-roster invitee to the Pittsburgh Pirates training camp in 1979 but did not make the team.

Johnson was a scout, advance scout, and major league scout for the Chicago White Sox from 1981 to the late 1990s. He was then a scout for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and Washington Nationals.

He passed away in April 2020 at age 70 from complications from Parkinson's disease.
