Biographical Information[edit]
Bill "Square Jaw" Ramsey was used frequently in his only season in the majors, appearing in 78 games for the Boston Braves in 1945. He hit .292 on a team that hit .267. Although the fourth outfielder on the team, he only played in the field in 43 of his 78 appearances.
He played in the minors for years, for teams such as Sacramento, Toledo, and Seattle.
