Biographical Information

Blake Dickman has been on the Israeli national team.

He hit .531 in high school and also played football. He and his sister were the only Jewish students in the high school. He was All-Conference in junior college. He spent 2020 at UNR then transferred to UCSD. He was 0 for 1 in both 2021 and 2022.

Moving to Israel, he made his long-time goal of joining the Israeli baseball team. He debuted in their opener in the 2023 European Championship, playing first base and hitting 8th. He was hit by a Jonah Schaller pitch his first time up and was driven in later by Ryan Lavarnway. His first hit was a double off Simon Steffen to drive in Benny Wanger. He finished 1-for-7 with two times plunked, two runs and a RBI while Wanger saw most of the time at first base.
