Biographical Information[edit]

Catcher Chris Barski spent three years in the Anaheim Angels system, playing from 1999 to 2001. He hit .373/.470/.731 with 18 home runs and 68 RBI in his final year at New Mexico State and was drafted by the club in the 11th round of the 1999 amateur draft, a few picks ahead of pitcher Eric Junge.

He hit .348/.443/.522 with six home runs and 39 RBI for the Boise Hawks his first year, but slumped in the succeeding seasons to hit only .266/.360/.383 with eight home runs and 62 games for his career.
