Outfielder Claudio Corradi began his career in 1975 with Parma, hitting .324/.370/.450 with 29 RBI in 35 games. In '76, he batted .325/.412/.528 with 38 runs and 39 RBI in 46 contests. During 1977, he hit .293/.384/.373. He was on the Italian national team that won Gold at the 1977 European Championship, hitting .391/.462/.478 with 11 runs and five RBI in 7 games while starting in right field; only Riccardo Spica scored more runs for Italy.

Corradi posted a batting line of .388/.478/.438 for Parma in '78 at age 20, then hit .243/.297/.408 in an off-year in 1979. In 1980, he hit .267/.337/.372 and he followed up the next year by batting .301/.408/.386. In '82, his batting line was .380/.475/.510 with 10 doubles in 27 games.

In 1983, Claudio hit .282. A year later, he produced at a .293/.335/.382 rate. In 1985, he batted .312/.364/.464. He won Silver with Italy during the 1985 European Championship. Corradi hit .271/.358/.347 in 1986 and .331/.410/.548 in 1987. He hit .258/.319/.371 during the 1988 campaign. In '89, he batted .413/.534/.556 with 35 runs in 40 contests.

Corradi remained productive with Parma in 1990 (.355/.449/.435), 1991 (.338/.397/.398), 1992 (.358/.425/.537), 1993 (.311/.414/.527) and 1994 (.379/.468/.439), still an effective player when he retired after 20 seasons.

Overall, he had hit .316/.393/.442 in 836 games in Italy. He managed Parma to titles in 1997 and 2010.

Corradi later coached for Italy in the 2003 Baseball World Cup, 2003 European Championship, 2004 Olympics, 2006 Intercontinental Cup and 2007 European Championship.
