Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Conner Greene was selected by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 7th round of the 2013 amateur draft, out of high school. He spent his first two professional seasons, in 2013 and 2014, at the Rookie Class level with the GCL Blue Jays and the Bluefield Blue Jays. He then took a big step forward in 2015 when he was with three different teams and reached all the way to AA with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats for 5 stars. He also pitched for the Lansing Lugnuts and Dunedin Blue Jays, going a combined 12-7. 3.54. In 2016, he split the season between Dunedin and New Hampshire and had another solid year, with a record of 10-9, 3.51 in 27 starts. However, he stumbled in 2017, as his record fell to 5-10, 5.29 in a full season with New Hampshire, costing him a chance to make his big league debut with the Jays.

On January 19, 2018, he was traded to the St. Louis Cardinals alongside fellow pitcher Dominic Leone in return for OF Randal Grichuk.
