Biographical Information[edit]
A couple of weeks before making his major league debut with the St. Louis Cardinals on July 28, 2018, pitcher Dakota Hudson played in the 2018 Futures Game for the United States team.
On August 19, 2019, he pitched 6 2/3 hitless innings in a start against the Milwaukee Brewers, before being lifted when his pitch count had reached 111. Giovanny Gallegos took over and kept the no-hitter going for another three outs before Yasmani Grandal hit an automatic double with two outs in the 8th for the Brewers' only hit of the game. St. Louis prevailed, 3-0.
