Biographical Information

Dave Sullivan was a major league umpire throughout the 1880s, working in three different leagues: the National League, between 1882 and 1889; the American Association in 1884; and the Union Association, also in 1884. In all, he worked 192 games, all but one of them as the home plate umpire.
