Biographical Information[edit]
Eddie Palmer got into 16 games with the Philadelphia Athletics in 1917. Ray Bates was the team's regular third baseman but was in the last year of his major league career, and Palmer's 16 games were all towards the end of the 1917 season.
After his major league days, Palmer played five years for Dallas. In 1924, he was with the Fort Worth Panthers who won 109 games and in 1925 was with the same team when they won 103 games. After his playing days he was an umpire in the Texas League for eight years.
