Biographical Information[edit]

Eduardo Díaz has played for the Honduran national team.

He was a 2B/P in the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games Central American Qualifier, going 0 for 3 with two walks and a run while pitching 2 1/3 shutout innings (0 H, 2 BB, 3 K) to beat El Salvador. [1] In the 2023 Pan American Games Qualifier, he went 1 for 5 and handled three chances error-free. The hit came off former major leaguer Severino González. He pitched once, relieving Darlyn Rodriguez in the 5th of a scoreless battle with Ken Ishihara of Peru; one runner was on and there were no outs. He walked José Salas but Jin Ishihara bunted into a force at third, Eduardo whiffed Daniel Liu and Giancarlo Kanashiro flew out. In the 6th, things went sour as Alonso Tenya and Liam Arakaki drew walks, Rider Zevallos singled in one and Joaquín Vélez singled in two. José Núñez relieved and let in an inherited run; Eduardo took the loss. [2]
