Biographical Information

After attending high school in Wisconsin, infielder Gerald Aanonsen was selected by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 39th round of the 1968 amateur draft. He played a total of 17 games with the GCL Cardinals in 1968 and 1969, never making it past the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League. He slashed .098/.196/.098 with no home runs, no RBI and 4 hits in 41 at-bats. He later became a realtor and an assistant basketball coach at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
