Biographical Information[edit]
Greg Pavlick pitched in the New York Mets chain from 171 to 1977.
Pavlick was a coach for the Tidewater Tides in 1978-1979, minor league pitching instructor in 1980-1982, and coach for the Columbia Mets in 1983, and Jackson Mets in 1984. He was bullpen coach for the big league Mets in 1985-1986 and a roving minor league pitching instructor in 1987. Pavlick returned to the big league staff from 1988 to 1996. He was roving minor league pitching instructor again in 1997-1999. After 29 seasons in the Mets' organization, Pavlick became the pitching coach for the Columbus Clippers midway through 2000, then stayed in the same role in 2001. He was then pitching coach for the Tampa Yankees from 2002 to 2010.
