Biographical Information[edit]
Greg Swindell was signed as the 2nd overall pick in the 1986 amateur draft by the Cleveland Indians and scout Red Gaskill.
Swindell was an assistant coach for Southwest Texas State University in 2004, and for the University of Texas in 2005 and 2007.
Swindell has been an analyst for University of Texas' Longhorn Network [1] since 2012 and announced Gainesville Regional games in 2014, Athens Regional games in 2018, and Lubbock Regional games in 2019 for ESPN.
