Biographical Information

Infielder Henry Martinez played on the 1941 Spokane Indians team that won the Western International League championship. As the team's starting second baseman, he hit .339/?/.486.  In 1942. he signed for his third stint in the Pacific Coast League with the Portland Beavers to play third base, but left to join the service mid-summer.  

He died at sea during World War II at the age of 28.
