Biographical Information[edit]
Hyotaro Kondo was a Japanese baseball coach.
Kondo was the first coach of the Matsuyama Commercial High School, and he coached them from 1918 to 1919. He then went to Taiwan and coached the Kagi Nonin High School from 1928 to 1946. He led the Chiayi Nonin advanced to the final of the 1931 Summer Koshien, but they were beaten by Chukyo University Senior High School. He then coached the Ehime University. Kondo was selected into the Taiwan Baseball Hall of Fame in January 13, 2024.
