Biographical Information[edit]
Julio Valera coached for the Puerto Rican national team when they won the 2008 Americas Baseball Cup and 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games. He also coached for them in the 2009 Baseball World Cup, 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games, 2015 Pan American Games, 2015 Premier 12 and 2019 Premier 12. He was a key part of the 2000 Caribbean Series victors and was later inducted into the Caribbean Baseball Hall of Fame as part of the 2020 class.
