Kunihisa Taneda was an infielder in Nippon Pro Baseball.

He played for Nankai Doken in the industrial leagues. Joining the Nankai Hawks in 1952, he was 2 for 11 with a walk and a home run. He hit .171/.244/.268 in 45 plate appearances over 33 games in 1953, backing up Kazuo Kageyama at third base. In a similar role and nearly identical time in 1954 (49 PA, 35 G), he batted .156/.224/.311. Moving to the Toei Flyers in 1955, he backed up Yoshio Hamada at 2B and Ichiro Nishie at 3B. He hit .217/.259/.325 in a career-high 173 plate appearances and 91 games. He was 0 for 10 with a walk in 1956 to end his playing career. He had batted .189/.244/.307 with 7 home runs, 29 runs, 31 RBI and 8 steals (in 12 tries) in 290 plate appearances and 183 games.
