Biographical Information

A catcher, played for the Negro League Baltimore Elite Giants in 1946 and 1947, hitting a scant .211 with 1 home run in 59 games. Found more success in the West Texas-New Mexico League in 1954 and 1955, hitting .354 with 40 doubles in '54 and .327 in 28 games in '55.

Played in the Puerto Rican Winter League from 1942-43 to 1955-56, hitting .255 with 383 hits in 1504 at-bats in years where stats are available. Was elected to the Puerto Rico Professional Baseball Hall of Fame in 1994.
