Biographical Information[edit]
Marlon Caspillo was on the first Philippines national team to play in a Baseball World Cup. Backing up Wilfredo Hidalgo Jr. at catcher in the 2001 Baseball World Cup, he went 0 for 5 at the plate. He had 3 putouts, one assist and caught one of six runners who tried to steal. He was back with the Philippines for the 2003 Asian Championship.
