Biographical Information[edit]
Infielder Mike Guerrero played in the minors for the Milwaukee Brewers and Kansas City Royals from 1987 until 1995. Unlike many players who spent so long in the minors, he spent most of that period in A ball, never playing in AAA.
Guerrero managed in the Dominican Summer League from 1995 to 2002, then spent 2003 as coach of the Beloit Snappers. He was the manager of the AZL Brewers in 2004 and 2005 and the West Virginia Power in 2006 and 2007. He became skipper of the Brevard County Manatees for the 2008 season. In 2014, he was promoted to a coach position with the Brewers. Guerrero was scheduled to be the manager of the Biloxi Shuckers in 2020 before the season was cancelled due to Covid-19.
Mike is the son of Epy Guerrero and brother of Sandy Guerrero.
