Biographical Information[edit]
Mike Williams was signed by the Philadelphia Phillies and scout Jerry Jordan as a 14th round pick in the 1990 amateur draft. With the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2003, he became the first pitcher in All-Star Game history to be selected for the game despite an ERA over 6 (6.44).
