Biographical Information[edit]

Muhammad Younas has played for the Pakistani national team.

He helped them win the 2023 West Asia Baseball Cup to qualify for the 2023 Asian Championship. [1] In the Asian Championship that year, he was Pakistan's main right fielder. In their opener, he hit 7th against champion Japan, striking out and grounding out against Mizuki Kato. His first hit came the next game, versus the Philippines. His 8th-inning single off Romeo Jasmin Jr. scored Wasim Akram to break up the shutout then he stole and scored on a hit by Fazal Ur Rehman to tie it at two, but Pakistan wound up falling. He hit .250/.294/.250 with 3 runs and 3 RBI in 5 games for the tournament, stealing four bases in four tries. He had five putouts, one assist and no errors. He tied Hiroki Nakagawa for 4th in swipes. He tied Jibran Aman Murtaza for third on Pakistan in runs, while only Ur Rehman had more RBI for them. [2]
