Biographical Information[edit]

Pat Pettee was in the majors for two games in April of 1891 with the Louisville Colonels at age 28. He played second base. Pat also had at least ten years in pro ball other than the majors.

Pettee was born, and died, in Natick, MA, perhaps most famous for also being the birthplace of batting coach Walt Hriniak. In the minors, Pat played mostly in the northeast U.S., but also had one season with the 1888 Milwaukee Brewers and a couple of games with the 1890 Grand Rapids Shamrocks. The young Clark Griffith was a teammate in Milwaukee.
