Biographical Information[edit]
Ray "Kell" Nelson played 39 games for the New York Giants in 1901.
He was at Amherst College in 1895-97.
The book Christy Mathewson: A Biography states that Mathewson's "manager at Taunton, Ray Kellogg, played 39 games at second base for the New York Giants in 1901 under the name Ray Nelson". Mathewson also played for the Giants in 1901.
