Biographical Information[edit]

Rick Bauer pitched in parts of seven seasons in the big leagues, primarily with the Baltimore Orioles. He enjoyed his finest season as a reliever with the Texas Rangers in 2006, making 58 appearances with a 3-1 record, 3.55 ERA and 2 saves in 71 innings. After a poor spring the following year, he spent all of 2007 in the minors and made four final big league appearances with the Cleveland Indians in 2008.

Rick debuted in the Korea Baseball Organization on May 21, 2009, allowing 4 hits, 4 walks and 7 runs in 1 2/3 innings against the KIA Tigers. He had a 15.63 ERA in his first two games for the LG Twins. Bauer finished 2-2 with a 7.90 ERA and was released a couple of months later, replaced by Jeremy Johnson.
