Rip Wade had one year in the majors, appearing in 33 games. He also played 17 seasons in the minors, posting a .303 batting average with 146 home runs.
His great-granddaugher Jessica Nardone is mentioned in the book Breaking into Baseball: Women and the National Pasttime.
