Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Robert Roberts played in the minor leagues in the 1940s and 1950s.
Beginning his career with a 13-7 record for the Boise Pilots in 1947, Roberts did not win 10 or more games again until 1952, when he was 11-6 with a 3.03 mark in 50 appearances for the Spokane Indians. He played briefly in the Open designation in 1953 and 1954, going 13-5 with a 4.34 ERA between the Seattle Rainiers and Vancouver Capilanos. He then went on a run in which he went 21-14, 14-11 and 11-15 through 1957, respectively. He last played in 1959.
Overall, he was 108-91 in 380 games.
