Biographical Information[edit]

Ron Dunn was drafted out of high school by the Baltimore Orioles in the second round of the 1968 amateur draft. Playing for the Chicago Cubs against the Montreal Expos in the second game of a doubleheader on September 11, 1974, he had a tremendous game, hitting three doubles and two-run homer in four at-bats. In spite of his performance, the Cubs lost that game, 13-4

In 1989, he played for the Winter Haven Super Sox of the Senior Professional Baseball Association. Dunn played in 39 games and batted .270.
