Scott Wright Nelson
Scott Nelson was a major league umpire from 2001 to 2003. In his first two season, he was just a temporary fill-in, called up from the minors for a handful of games each season to replace injured umpires or other on leave, but in 2003, he worked 55 games. However, he was never added permanently to the major league umpiring roster.
