Biographical Information[edit]
Sim Bullas was one of two ex-major leaguers who was paid to play in the inaugural season of structured domestic baseball in Britain in 1890. He caught for the Derby team. The league is described in What about the Villa?: Forgotten figures from Britain's pro baseball league of 1890. Sim's American big league tenure consisted of 13 games with Toledo in 1884, batting .089/.109/.133 (4-for-45) with one extra base hit, a triple.
