Biographical Information[edit]

Slats Jordan had two sips of coffee with the old Baltimore Orioles in 1901 and 1902 as a first baseman and as an outfielder, respectively. However, Jordan was never more than a substitute (he played in one game near the end of the season in each of 1901 and 1902).

In 1905 he played for the Augusta Tourists, where a teammate was the young Ty Cobb.

He was a Spanish American War veteran.

He died at age 74 and is buried at Loudon Park National Cemetery in Baltimore, MD.
