Talk:Aroldis Chapman
WBC?[edit]
Nobody's mentioning how totally incredible this kid looked against Australia in the WBC game 10Mar2009? Well, fine, I will: DAY. UMN. Sure, it's Australia and all, but still we're talking about unreal, hundred-plus heat, good slider, _wicked_ curve. 7 Ks in four innings, would have been left in any real game but had to leave due to the weird WBC pitch-count limits.
The good news is that Cuba qualified for the second round, so the kid will be in San Diego the second week of March, and someone's bound to point out to him why defecting would be such a good idea.
