Are transaction events such as "2001 - Free agent pitcher Ismael Valdéz is signed by the Angels." or "2006 - Pitcher Ryan Vogelsong agreed to a $555,000, one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Pirates." notable enough. I don't think either is noteworthy. A trade of A-Rod or signing of Clemens, yes. An extension for Ryan (here's a fastball down the middle for you to smack) Vogelsong, no. - --Mischa 13:18, 25 June 2006 (EDT)
