Biographical Information[edit]
Tom Kramer had a nice 7-3 record with the Cleveland Indians in 1993, pitching for a team which finished under .500 in spite of featuring Jim Thome, Kenny Lofton, Carlos Baerga, Albert Belle, Sandy Alomar, Manny Ramirez (53 at-bats) and Bob Ojeda.
He also began his minor league career in 1987 with a 7-3 record. He usually had winning records in the minors and was 15-2 in 1995.
He pitched an eight-strikeout, no-walk one-hitter on May 24, 1993 against the Texas Rangers; had Julio Franco not broken it up in the 4th inning with a home run, it would have been a perfect game.
