Biographical Information[edit]

Tom Paciorek Jr. is the nephew of Jim Paciorek, Mike Paciorek and John Paciorek, the son of Tom Paciorek and the cousin of Mack Paciorek, Pete Paciorek, and Joseph Paciorek. He was drafted in the 43rd round of the 1998 amateur draft by the New York Mets. He hit .265/~.302/.463 for the 1998 Kingsport Mets while playing regularly in the outfield, showing a similar skill set to his father. He was just 3 for 28 with the Pittsfield Mets, striking out 7 times, scoring five, driving in none and getting no extra-base hits. It was his only season as a pro.
