The number of bases a batter accumulates counting a single as 1 base, a double as 2, a triple as 3 and a home run as 4. The abbreviation is TB.
Total Bases = [Singles] + [Doubles x 2] + [Triples x 3] + [Home Runs x 4] = [Hits] + [Doubles] + [Triples x 2] + [Home Runs x 3]
