I'm a social worker in Pittsburgh, working in a low-income senior high-rise presently. Baseball-wise, I enjoy reading about minor leagues, international baseball or 19th century baseball and I think this has been reflected in my posts here. I'm a Pirates fan and used to follow the Blue Jays closely (late 80s and early 90s). I'm Jewish and attend services daily (barring illness) and study Jewish law. I am a husband and father of two.

I was probably one of the most active contributors in the Bullpen's first nine years of operation (2005-2014) but it's gotten too busy for me to keep up with and gotten to be more stressful than enjoyable so I "retired" from editing in May 2014. I hope everyone here continues to expand on the wonderful job we've done so far; it's been great working with Philippe, Jeff, Alex, Cmcgill, Randy, Oaktree_b, Mookieproof and the numerous other contributors here. I now mostly contribute on international events.
