Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Warren Martin played in the minor leagues from 1940 to 1942 and from 1946 to 1952. He won as many as 13 games in a season, but also had campaigns as inglorious as a 2-10, 8.82 ERA showing for the Denver Bears in 1948. Overall, he went 88-85 in 273 games over 10 seasons.
He served in the infantry in World War II, earning two Bronze Stars for his service.
