Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Xavier Moore was picked by the Texas Rangers in the 16th round of the 2017 amateur draft, out of a high school in Ohio. He began his pro career that season with the AZL Rangers, going 0-0, 3.60 in 12 games as a reliever, logging 15 innings. He then split the 2018 season between the same team and the Spokane Indians of the Northwest League, going 0-1, 5.30 in 13 games. He struck out 21 batters in 18 2/3 innings.

On March 4, 2019, he was traded twice in one day, first being sent to the Minnesota Twins in return for OF Zack Granite, and then being immediately flipped to the Baltimore Orioles in return for $750,000 in international bonus pool money.
