Biographical Information[edit]
Yoshikazu Kutsukake played for Toyota in the industrial leagues after college. He made the Japanese national team for the 2019 Asian Championship. A 1B/DH, he hit .312/.312/.500 with 2 RBI and 5 runs in the first five games. In the Gold Medal Game, he pinch-hit for Toshifumi Kaneko in the 7th inning, and collected a single off Tsung-Hao Wang in a 4-5 loss to Taiwan.
