Biographical Information[edit]
Yukio Imaizumi was a catcher for the Takahashi and Tombo Unions from 1954 to 1956. While there, he was the battery mate of Victor Starffin who earned his 300th victory while with the Unions.
Following his professional career, Imaizumi became an executive with the Japanese youth baseball league. He died a few weeks after his 71st birthday due to an aneurysm.
